27.10.07
Scandinavian airline SAS has announced it will launch flights between Bristol Airport and Oslo on April 1. The thee times a week return service comes after the airline launched a Bristol - Stockholm service in June, the success of which prompted the new Oslo route.
Fares on the new Oslo flights are from £29 one-way including taxes, with travellers able to choose from Economy and Economy Extra class service. The route will operate on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Oslo will be the 17th capital city served by a direct flight from Bristol Airport. Tony Hallwood, the airport's aviation development director, said: 'SAS clearly see the huge potential of the south-west market as a leisure destination for Scandinavians.'
