SAS to reintroduce summer Stockholm flights
19.12.07
SAS is to reintroduce its summer service between Bristol Airport and Stockholm on June 27. The news comes less than six weeks after the airline announced it would begin a route between Bristol and Oslo next year.
The new Stockholm flight, offering passengers a link to the Swedish capital from the west country for the second summer running, will operate on Monday and Friday with one way fares from £49 including taxes and charges. Flights will be operated using a Boeing 737-600 with 112 seats including Economy and Economy Extra cabins.
The airline's UK and Ireland general manager, Lars-Ove Filipson, said: 'Demand for the service this summer was very strong from business and leisure travellers. We sold on average more than 80% of the seats available on every flight.'
'In October we announced the launch of our new service from Bristol Airport to Oslo, which will launch in April and offer 3 weekly return services to the Norwegian capital. This route will complement our service to Stockholm.'
