easyJet launch three new routes

easyJet launched 3 new routes from Bristol Airport this week, the budget airline's biggest base outside London. The new flights to Madeira, Gdansk and Lisbon give the region's travellers an even greater choice of destinations from their local airport.
The airline expects to carry over 120,000 passengers on the 3 new routes in the first 12 months of operation; contributing towards the 41 million passengers easyJet will carry in 2008. Madeira is one of the most popular, up and coming low-fare destinations for 2008, and Bristol is the first easyJet base to operate flights to its capital Funchal.
Gdansk is a city in Northern Poland with a grand and historic port located on the Baltic Sea, and Lisbon, situated on the northern banks of the River Tagus, is a striking city of rich cultural heritage including magnificent palaces, churches and an impressive castle.
