Bristol Zoo offers a brilliant day out with over 400 species of wildlife to discover, exhibitions and attractions all set within 12 acres of beautiful gardens.
This famous zoo was voted zoo of the year by the 'Good Britain Guide' in 2004. Its the fifth oldest zoo in the world, the oldest zoo outside of a capital city, and a long established major tourist attraction in Bristol.
Bristol Zoo is also a world leader in wildlife education and conservation, so watch out for some rare species and new baby animals. It also hosts exhibitions and puts on regular special events, especially during school holidays. Plan on spending 2 - 5 hours at the zoo.
