Ryanair Pau transfer reminder

Ryanair has reminded passengers that for two weeks from July 27until August 9 all of its flights to / from Pau will transfer to Lourdes (40km from Pau). The temporary transfer is necessary to allow Pau Airport to upgrade its landing systems to allow flights to land safely in adverse weather conditions.
Passengers who are booked to travel via Pau Airport during the two week period have been contacted by Ryanair via email and advised of complementary coach transfers between the airports. A spokesman for the airline said that the upgrade at Pau 'will benefit all passengers in the long-term as it will minimise weather related cancellations and diversions.'
