Bristol Airport celebrates four years of New York flights

Bristol Airport is celebrating the fourth anniversary of its flights to New York - operated by Continental Airlines. The airport is marking the anniversary today by offering passengers on the outbound flight a variety of refreshments at its Seafood Bar, including Manhattan cocktails.
Continental's flights between Bristol Airport and New York Newark operate on a daily basis and have carried over 320,000 passengers since they launched on May 20, 2005. The flights are the only direct link to the US from south-west England and Wales, and as well as providing a direct route to New York, they also offer travellers the ability to catch onward flights across North America from Continental's hub at Newark Liberty Airport.
