Flybe reviewing IOM service on disappointing passenger numbers
16.10.10
Flybe is reviewing whether to continue its Isle of Man to Bristol Airport route following disappointing passenger numbers, IOM Today reports. The airline launched its three-times-a week services in March, effectively replacing its Newquay summer-only service. It is urging people to use the service to ensure the flights are maintained.
Meanwhile, figures released by IOM Airport show that easyJet's launch of island services in May coincided with a drop in passenger numbers on Flybe's Liverpool and Manchester routes and Manx2's service to Blackpool, suggesting more routes might be under threat.
