New airport hotel approved

Plans to build a new 251-room on-site hotel at Bristol Airport were approved by North Somerset Council. Work on the hotel will start next year and it will be complete and open by the end of 2012.
The hotel will to be 100m from the terminal building and is expected to create 140 full-time jobs. It is part of the airport's £150m redevelopment and expansion plan.
