First table service restaurant at Bristol Airport
13.07.08
UK food and beverage company SSP has opened Bristol Airport's first table service restaurant as part of a £7.5 million redevelopment at the hub. The restaurant, Dexter's Chargrill and Bar, has been opened in response to the increased number of passengers and increased time that passengers spend airside, following security changes.
SSP signed a franchise agreement with Clapham House Group to operate the Tootsies and Dexter’s brands in the UK and Ireland airports market in April 2008. The new restaurant at Bristol Airport is located airside.
Dexter’s is an American-style family restaurant serving a health-conscious menu with an emphasis on ethically sourced products, including burgers and a Superfood Salad. It is a child-friendly restaurant with a Junior menu developed by children’s food and nutritional expert and best-selling author, Annabel Karmel.
