Early morning take off for hot air balloons

Over 20 hot air balloons took off from the runway at Bristol Airport yesterday, to promote the city's annual Balloon Fiesta. They took off just after 05:00 - to ensure there was no disruption to flights as the airport is closed at that time.
Fiesta director Susan Tanner said she wanted to do something special to launch the festival and ‘showcase it to a wider audience.'. The Fiesta takes place at Ashton Court between August 6 to 9.
