Airport roadworks this month

Diversions will be in place fora £10,000 road improvement scheme near Bristol Airport later this month. The roadworks will extend from the junction in Downside to the A38 to Brockley Combe Road by Coombehead Farm and begin on September 28. There will be no access to Bristol Airport from the A370 from this date and for the 5 days anticipated to complete the work.
North Somerset Council's executive member for highways, Elfan Ap Rees, said: ‘We have scheduled these works outside the busy summer holiday period to try and minimise disruption. There will inevitably be some delays. I would ask those going to Bristol Airport and other road users to allow extra time for their journey.’
