SAS launch Oslo flights
03.04.08
Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) launched a new route from Bristol Airport to the Norwegian capital of Oslo this week. The route will operate three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday - throughout the summer.
Available until October 23, the route is ideal for holidaymakers wanting to make the most of the Scandinavian summertime, and for UK business travellers visiting the capital. Lars-Ove Filipson, general manager of SAS UK, said that the airline was delighted to increase its flights from Bristol Airport, adding to its route to its summer route to Stockholm.
Paul Kehoe, chief executive officer at Bristol Airport, added: ‘The launch of the new Oslo route shows the potential of the south-west as a leisure destination for Scandinavians.’
