First of easyJet's new routes take off
01.04.10
easyJet started the first of 4 new services from Bristol Airport earlier this week. The budget airline continues to expand in the South West - its biggest UK base outside London - with a new Tenerife route taking off on Tuesday. This will be followed by Paphos in Cyprus on April 14, Turkish routes to Bodrum and Dalaman mid July and Heraklion in Crete on July 17. The airline expects additional new flights to be announced later this year.
Sophie Dekkers, UK commercial manager of easyJet, said: ‘Tenerife is famed for its year round sun and with tickets from £35.99, three days a week, we're making this more accessible for all. easyJet now provides a total of 42 routes from Bristol Airport, and we plan to expand further from this important base to provide even more choice to travellers. The key to our success is providing the lowest fares, to the most convenient airports.’
